Hi! I’m Christy. I am a Californian with Salvadorian roots living in Lyon, France. After graduating from culinary school, I worked in kitchens, catering companies, and as a private chef. I eventually found my way into product development within the food industry. As an Innovation Chef, I developed products for the U.S. foodservice industry.
My passion for food, traveling and sharing those experiences with others is what brought me to France.
In 2018, I traveled through France learning all I could about French food and French bread. During my trip, I volunteered on organic farms through a program called WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms). As a WWOOFer, I gained a deep appreciation for farmers and food sustainability.
The experience was magical and I decided to pack my things and move to Lyon, France. The City of Gastronomy!
The beauty of Lyon is its geographic location. We have access to the best wines in France, best cheeses, produce and seafood. And some of the best farms just outside the city.
